Standing Barre for Strong Abs
This Barre Class strengthens the whole of the abdominal area, often known as the core, without a single plank or sit up! Target the whole of the core - including the back body and glutes. Create a strong centre (great for balance, grace and poise) while sculpting, toning and strengthening one of the most important muscle groups in the body, this is great for lower back care. Remember to activate the core throughout this class. Not suitable if those who are pregnant. Have a sturdy chair on hand for this class.

This short, punchy vinyasa practice will give our whole being a big energy boost. Starting with Kapalabhati, to build heat, then building heat through the core, opening the spine with twists and build to a sweet lunge backbend.

Rise and Shine 2
Rise and Shine, again! The second in the Rise and Shine series, back due to popular demand. Really simple 10 movements to gently start the day. No need for a yoga mat, these are movements to increase circulation and joint mobility with a little bit of strength. All from standing. Use it as a warm up for other classes or in the morning to get the body going. Equally good as a midday energiser or at the end of the day if you've been sitting for long periods or driving. A great way to break up the dy and feel more refreshed, centered and focused for the day ahead.

Awaken Energy 2: Balls, Blocks and Massage
A second class to move chi (or energy) in the body using tennis ball massage. This class is perfect in the morning to gently stimulate energy or as a prelude to yin class; ideal if you’re feeling tired and want to gently lift your energy with minimal movement. You will need 2 tennis balls or spiky massage balls and a block.

Wake Up Shake Up: Tap and Stretch
Wake up, shake up, tap and stretch. This short and gentle movement class doesn't need a yoga mat or any equipment: perfect for when you're on the move or even in the office. Awaken, enliven and invigorate through shaking movements before tapping along the meridians, and moving through gentle stretches which are as invigorating as they are soothing and quietening. The focus is less on postural extremism and more on awareness of embodiment. A practice of interoception and inner attention. A great class for seniors or those with more limited mobility, recovering from surgery or times of illness. Inspired by disco and qigong.

New Moon Intention Meditation 2
This meditation is intended to tap into the energy of the new moon symbolically or literally, which means it can be used at any time of the month. It is a great meditation for when you want to start things anew, clarify your intention, envision and set a new intention. You may wish to write any intentions you have down beforehand, or afterward, or not at all. Class starts with seated twisting movements to eliminate tension and then breath work is used to calm and clarify the mind before the seated meditation begins. This is a very free meditation, which will hopefully soothe you, refresh you, and give you a new spark of energy and spiritual insight.

Invigorate with Qigong
This Qigong class is a gentle way to awaken your energy. Suitable for the morning or anytime you feel sluggish and need to get your energy flowing. Start by systematically waking up our joint spaces followed by gentle meridian stimulation. Then continue to awaken the entire body with poses such as constant bear, wild horse, shaking and pulses. Class concludes with centring and breathing ready to move on with the day. You don't need a mat for this class, so it's perfect for a limited space or even for practicing outdoors.

A fun workout and an invigorating way to start your day. This Barre class will build strength in the core and arms as well as work on your fitness. If you are looking to change up your core routine then standing abs are essential. Probably only seen in dance and boxing, standing while working the abs adds a whole new dimension to your workout. It’s short enough to fit into a busy day but long enough to really make a difference. Put this class with another short class to give you a longer workout and to target specific areas.

Meditation: Befriending your Whole Self
In this short meditation class, be guided through an embodied enquiry of the layers of your body (physical, mental, emotional, energetic, spiritual) as a way of tuning into, welcoming and befriending your body. When we take time to listen and connect to our body we make room to welcome the full spectrum of our human experience – from the comfortable to the not so comfortable. Befriending the body in this way widens the circle of compassion and acceptance of this moment allowing you to tap into the inherent wisdom that resides within. This is a really useful short practice to connect to yourself at the start of your day, before any yoga class and when you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, stress or overwhelm.
