Movement for Modern Life Supports

Part of our yoga practice is the practice of seeing that we are all connected to each other and to the world we live in.

Although we are a small, family-run venture, we express our interconnectedness through supporting people (human and non-human) and our beautiful earth. Our favourite charities and projects connect all of these.

WE SUPPORT

Ecologi’s Tree planting partner The Eden Reforestation Projects plants millions of trees around the world each month and our contribution supports this important work, as well as supporting a carbon reduction programme.

A permaculture, reforestation project close to our hearts, founded by our own Vidya Heisel, founder of Suryalila. Danyadara seeks to reverse the frightening process of desertification in Southern Spain by planting trees, taking care of the soil and the people.

Rewilding the Scottish Highlands. After Founder, Kat, read Wilding by Isabella Tree, Kat has learned the immense importance of Wilding our beautiful land, to sequester carbon, to provide habitat for diverse species and land for us to breathe in and enjoy. We need wildlife and trees, for our souls, for the interconnectedness of life, and to be able to continue life on earth via Work for Good.

We are partially sponsoring a place on Radical Darshan, a ground-breaking 300-hour yoga teacher training with our teachers Jonelle Lewis and Leila Sadeghee, the teacher training where social justice and collective care is centre of the cirriculum. We are proud to be supporting the Gift of Collective Freedom.
